Kelley is editor of University of Waterloo Magazine as well as editor/project manager for other CPA publications. She is chair of the campus-wide Marketing and Communications Working Group and a member of UW's Web Ops team. She fills in for Martin Van Nierop in his absence.

Michael and his team create news releases and manage their distribution; pitch Waterloo's stories to media, both locally and nationally; create and maintain the media experts guide; create and maintain other resources requested by media; monitor media coverage of UW; and provide media training and counsel to campus.

Pat provides counsel and support in organizing and running special events throughout UW. She maintains the event planning manual and provides counsel on protocol for visiting dignitaries. She is also active in community relations and maintaining UW's links with its community partners.

As web communications manager, Megan is responsible for maintaining the university's presence on its official website, focusing on web-based technology and the web as a key marketing and communications tool. She is a member of UW’s Web Advisory Committee and Web Operations Committee. Recent CPA web projects include the creation of UWOpinion, upgrades to UWEvents, and building a new site for Waterloo International.

Brandon provides communications support for senior university officials in areas such as speech writing, research, and report writing.  He monitors issues in higher education and government that affect the university, and briefs relevant staff on developments reported in those areas.

Patricia and Barbara are both communications officers who work with Kelley Teahen on university publications. They are expert researchers, writers and copy editors. In addition, Patricia is the designated backup to run the Daily Bulletin in Chris Redmond's absence and Barbara is working on research stories for the home page.

Jan and Karen provide support to CPA activities. Jan administers UW Events and handles the office finances and administration; Karen assists both media relations and public affairs, and is the point person for distributing copies of CPA publications to the campus.
